1 KUMANO KODO
Part of the
sacred Kii Mountain Range, Kumano Sanzan is made up of three ancient and
historically important shrines. The way to reach them is by joining over 1000
years of pilgrims on the Kumano Kodo hiking routes.
In region Kansai of Island Honshu in the city of Wakayama,
is the home of the gods. It is just a couple of hours south from the electric
city of Osaka. Here the old pathways lead to a hidden shrine where monks
worships surrounded by waterfall mist and forest. The place is part of UNESCO
world Heritage of Sacred Sites.
2 SAPPORO
Sapporo is Japan’s
fifth largest city. The city is built in North American grid style. Sapporo has
a famous ramen street and the Sapporo beer since 1877. Sapporo hosts Japan’s
one of the most popular winter festival of snow. More than 2 million people
attend in this festival to see the huge ice and show sculptures.
3 HIROSHIMA
Internationally known for the atomic bomb attack on Aug 6th
1945, this city has become a city with excellent cuisine, nightlife and or
modern city. Hiroshima peace memorial park is one of the must visit place in
the city. The park has Atomic bomb dome, children’s peace monument, and
Hiroshima peace memorial Museum.
4 TAKACHIHO GORGE
This gorge cut by river Gokase is one of the spectacular
gorge. The lining edge columns are formed by slow forming volcanic basalt. You
can also take the rental boats, the water is very calm and makes very easy to
navigate.
5 FUJI Q HIGHLAND
This is a thrill ride amusement park. You can see Mt Fuji
