We love to visit different places and explorer different corners of the world. See other peoples culture and tradition and of course the natural beauty of the planet earth. 1 The Dead Sea
Dead Sea is the saltiest lake on earth and is known as the world's original health resort. This sea is said to relieve many ailments ranging form psoriasis to osteoarthritis. Past 4 decades the lake has shrunk by about 30 % and is being rapidly shrunk and many be one in 50 years is shrunk in same rate.
2 The Maldives
The country is popular for being the lowest nation in world and is made up of 1200 islands. Over 80% of these island are less than one meter above sea level. Hence these island is endangered by rising waters of ocean. It is predicted that within a century, the Maldives will be gone.
3 Montana's Glacier National Park
In year 1850 Montana's Glacier National Park had 150 glaciers but now there are barely 25 of them. It is believed that in next 15years from 2015 all the glaciers will be gone. The National Park is known for retaining all of its plant and animal species; however this is going to change along with the ecosystem when the glacier-fed cold water is gone.
4 Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef of Australia, is the largest and inaruagbly the most breathtaking coral reef. Inreased in ocean pollution , acidification and rise in temperature has cause very massive coral bleaching and hence the reef is disappearing.About half of Reef has already gone in last three decade. And there will be no more of in by 2030.
5 Venice, Italy
Venice popularly known as “City of Water,” Venice has a long history of being one of the most romantic Italian cities for its small canals and beautiful bridges. The sinking of Venice is being faster more than five times and it is thought it would be. The rising sea level has also caused city to be shunk.
